My name is Kenny, and I’ve been actively day/swing trading for about 6 months since the start of 2008. Having kept vigorously a notebook recording all my trades & thoughts, I’ve started this blog to share my thoughts and experiences on trading as well as associating theories & principles, with a bias towards trading philosophy & pyschology.

Update: 13th August
I’ve gradually moved off from day trading to position, much of it due to my position sizing that makes day trades too expensive in terms of commission charges. To top it off, my current work and studies doesn’t allow me to vest the amount of time and energy into day trading, and not to mention it’s tough when I’m usually long in my net positions – any sudden drop which is common these days could be painful for me. Also, position trading allowed me to ride a prolonged trend and allow room for any sudden dips when the trend reverse with enough off the table to cover commissions and profit from it.
One important pivotal lesson I’ve learnt from trading with a plan, system and journal is these tweaks have nothing to do with the market but with the trader.
